It is my experience that we have all lived before, many, many times. In this chapter I am going to relay several experiences with past life work that Enny and I have done, as well as give some conclusions as to the purpose of past lives as opposed to having only one physical life. These conclusions have come after working with many people in this capacity, as well as through information given to me through my spirit guides, angels, and other people's guides.
    I have been asked many times the true meaning of our life on this planet. Much as been written on this subject throughout the millenniums. To me, the purpose of life seems fairly basic. Our goal as individuals souls, however simple or complex it is viewed, is to learn and to grow. In this learning and growth process, our souls change. Each life adds to our total being. We never lose who we are or who we were. All the incarnations are stored within our "higher self" who, while we are in physical form, has been unattainable for most of us. The ultimate goal throughout all our lifetimes tied to the earth plane is to become experienced enough so that one day we do not have to come back again in physical, third dimensional form. How long this takes is up to each individual and the karma they attain through each lifetime. Someone who lived their lives concentrated on spiritual development such as coming back again and again as a priest, monk yogi, etc. will attain a state of pure enlightenment long before someone who wants to come back and life a life that involves constantly striving for material wealth, glory in battles, or revels in the more basic pleasures that this world has to offer. Once a person can begin to detach himself or herself from the earthly pleasures and desires that drive most of us, then he or she no longer has to reincarnate into the third dimensional plane. They can move upward into the higher dimensions as they have become unencumbered by worldly attachments. This is relayed again in a higher dimension, with lives being much longer and, we as spiritual beings, having much more freedom and knowledge to grow even closer to the God source...................................


    As soon as Enny and I developed our past life talents, we began offering past life readings through Moonglow. Many of the clients that I had preciously worked with doing Reiki loved the new skill I had acquired. They began asking for information pertaining to their past lives. I gladly obliged...........


....I have found that there are similarities within past lives or events that carry over from life to life that affect the present situation. This was apparent to me when I did a session with a woman named Charlene. The first life I picked up on was of her in Prussia ending in 1862. She was a man and a cavalry officer during the Prussian Expansion. The one scene that came through most vividly was of a battle raging all around me. I witnessed barrages of cannon and gunfire, with men an horses screaming. It was quite intense. In the midst of battle, he took a bullet to the throat and died on the battlefield. I saw this replayed three times before the scene shifted.
    The next was altogether different. It was of a time and place in America. This time in her life, she was a woman, a housewife. It was Danbury, Ohio, and the time was the 1930's. Her husband was a banker, and she had two children, a boy and a girl. They lived in a typical large wooden house of the time. It was an opposite life than the one before it. She was quite unhappy. I got a great sense of melancholy, of dreams unfulfilled, and of a household full of control and not of love. She had a hard time expressing herself. She also smoked many cigarettes. This dependence on cigarettes helped create the physical manifestation of the throat cancer that took her life. She was forty-two years old. Once again, the throat was a centerpiece of her physical death.
    After I gave her the information about the session, and her past life, she responded with:

"Quite and amazing experience. I've always had problems n my throat, definitely emotional related. When I get backed into a corner and feel I can't possibly tell a person how I really feel, I get a 'knot' in my throat. When I first started Reiki classes, I almost reached a point of not wanting anyone to work on me because every Reiki session created enormous tension in my throat. As the subject of the group's distance practice, I was placed in the middle of the room and thought the tension in my throat, which felt like a rubber band pulled to its tightest, was going to slingshot me into another world! So, yes, it is my biggest block. I am grateful for this insight and healing, as this was the first session where I didn't experience my throat tightening."
