Enny and I have seen many dramatic displays of Psychic Touch (Called Psychometry) and also practice it ourselves. This book really taught us a lot and gave us some good insight into psychometry. It is one of the easier skills to learn and it will help you branch out into any other psychic and mediumistic skills that you desire. How And Why Do Energy Grids Work?

Crystal Activated Energy grids are not a new concept. Stones and their properties have been studied by shamen and spiritual leaders since the beginning of time. Here at Moonglow, we use a lot of quartz crystal for channeling activities. Psychic abilities are a form of channeling. You are channeling information into your conscious mind which may not be readily available to the untrained or unenlightened person. In our experiences we have found that quartz crystal is THE most powerful substance to help with psychic development.

Purple Amethyst

The second most beneficial substance we have found for psychic development is Purple Amethyst. The type we like to use is called Cape Amethyst. It is banded with Quartz Crystal throughout. This amplifies the energies of the Amethyst. Amethyst opens and activates the Crown Chakra and the Third Eye Chakra. It helps bring peace and tranquility during the meditative state. It brings cooperation to all aspects of ones being, the physical, emotional and spiritual. It also helps to clear the aura and removes negative energies throughout a person's body. It also helps during meditation or deep thought to increase and facilitate psychic awareness.

These stones are to be held, one in each hand before the sessions or practicing. Close your eyes, breathe deeply several times, drawing in energy and opening the Crown Chakra. Sitting quietly for several minutes with the stones in your hands will also dramatically open your psychic awareness up. When practicing Psychometry, you can hold one or both in one hand, and the object you are reading in the other. This will greatly increase your abilities and make a clearer channel for the energies to be received.

Grounding

It is important to ground yourself after your practice or Psychometry sessions. This will keep you from expending too much of your own energy. So we have added a tumbled Hematite which will help to bring you back into the here and now. Also, there are two, 2 inch X 1 1/4 inch copper strips to place into your shoes. This technique was taught to Keith by an elder that has been doing psychic and medium work for over 50 years. We tried it, now all of our shoes have these in them. You can place the whole strip, one in each shoe, or cut it in half and place one square at the ball of your foot and one at the heel. The reason behind this is simple. Copper is one of the best conductors of electricity. It is often used as a ground (all electricity returns to the earth, the electricity in your house, car, and in your body). This is a way to ground or remove from your body any negative energies that may be picked up during psychic sessions. Burning sage, standing in the full moon, standing by or in (a hot shower works well) moving water, especially the ocean, will also help remove negative energies that you pick up. We also pick up negative energies from other people. Staying grounded will  help keep those energies away from you as well. We have found this to be an important part of doing psychic, medium, and spiritual work.

In addition to everything else, we have added instruction on how to activate the grid with the sacred geometrical pattern which will send life force energy through the stones and into the room it is placed. The instructions have suggestions on optimizing the grid along with a meditation you can do with the grid activated and in the room with you. Also included is a single terminated clear quartz crystal which Keith attunes with his Reiki "Raku" Master symbol to "activate" the grid. The attunement or "encoding" of the quartz crystal channels Reiki energies directly into the the grid matrix, making the connection between the stones stronger, and keeps the grid activated longer. The quartz crystal is not just simply infused with Reiki energies which can dissipate over time, but the encoding ensures that activation of the grid will continue to be maximized each time it is used. You will need to periodically cleanse the stones, the room it is in, and even yourself, so we have added some wonderfully aromatic white sage. You will need to keep the loose stones together so there is also a velvet drawstring pouch.
