Directions
We are located a little out of the way, but we are not hard to find. If you look on any road map, find Elma, then go north and look for Schafer State Park. We are right next to it. It is really not difficult to find us. Once people have driven here, they say "Oh, that was not hard at all!!" and they easily remember how to get here!
We will give directions to areas that are nearby. If you live somewhere else, give us a call and we will give you specific directions.
From Olympia
Take I-5 to the State Route 101 towards Shelton Exit (Exit 104). Do not turn off towards Shelton but instead keep going and you will soon be on State Route 8 going East (As you are on I-5 South you will see an exit going towards Aberdeen). State Route 8 will take you then on to State Route 12 just past Elma. About 4 miles past Elma to the Right is the exit to Brady. Take the exit up and around, past the fire station to the stop sign. Go through the stop sign and you will see a brown sign for Shafer state Park. People in the area know this as Brady road or Middle Satsop Road. Go about 8 miles and you will see another Shafer State Park sign, take that road right. About 1 mile you will go through the park, and the road will naturally go to the right. About 1/2 mile up is Lillie Rd. It is a gravel road. First left is US!! 193 W. Lillie Rd!
From Aberdeen
Take State Route 12 out of Aberdeen and Past Montesano. About 6 miles out of Montesano take the Brady exit to the left. Take the exit up and around, past the fire station to the stop sign. Go through the stop sign and you will see a brown sign for Shafer state Park. People in the area know this as Brady road or Middle Satsop Road. From Shelton
Take Route 102 west out of Shelton (Downtown by the Rail Road Tracks with
all the log carrying train cars) to Matlock. There will be a sign at Matlock
taking you to the left turn that says Mary M Knight School and Shafer State
Park. Take that left about 10 miles until you see the sign for Shafer State
Park. Take a left. About 1 mile you will go through the park, and the road
will naturally go to the right. About 1/2 mile up is Lillie Rd. It is a gravel
road. First left is US!! 193 W. Lillie Rd!
